Women are angels... and when someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly... on a broomstick, if need be. We are flexible like that!

Thanksgiving in Page, AZ

Dave and I celebrated Thanksgiving in Page this year with Dave's family.

Dave's Mom, Theresa, flew into SLC on Mon. the 23rd. She hadn't flown since before 9-11. She was a little worried at first, but everything went well and not as difficult as she thought it would be.

Dave's family hadn't seen Cody in a long time.

The day after Thanksgiving we went to the Grand Canyon.
Theresa and Cody hadn't ever been there. It was a fantastic day to go. It was cool, but not too cool and it was nice and clear.

Our first stop was at Desert Point (where the tower is located)

Cody and his Grandma have a little size difference.

Matt, Theresa, Rick

Daring for Cody. He was having a hard time with the heights.

Cody and Matt both sneeking up to the edge on their butts.

I love the shadows on this pic below. We had quite the audience watching.
Matt was getting really daring.
He wanted to look over the cliff.
I'm not sure he got over close enough to see.
Jenny and her son Mathew.
Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. Everyone had a great time.
Even considering the sewer problem at the house. But that got fixed while we were at the Grand Canyon.
On the way back from Grand Canyon we stopped at the Cameron trading post for dinner. Dave loves the Navajo hot beef dish. It is roast beef and gravy on Navajo fry bread. I think most of us had that for dinner. It was delicious. Yum. Thanks Rick
