Women are angels... and when someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly... on a broomstick, if need be. We are flexible like that!

Grandma Sue license plate

While out and about today, I noticed this license plate in front of me while at a stop light.
I don't know who Grandma Sue is, but I thought it was cute so I took a quick pic.
(Oma is German for Grandma)

March Madness and the Boyd's

March Madness games in Salt Lake City brought my good friend Kristy and her family
down from LaGrande, Oregon for a visit.
We met at Squatters for dinner Friday night (yesterday).
Kurt (Kristy's youngest son), Tony (her husband) and Kristy

Kristy's older son (Kevin) is in college and couldn't come because he had classes.
I hadn't seen Kurt since he was about 6 or 7.  He is now in 7th grade and has grown quite a bit since then.
After dinner, I went back to their motel to visit.  We talked for several hours.  It was really good to visit and catch up on each others lives.  I miss not seeing her very often.

Page House Finished

In February, I went down to sign off on the contractors work fixing the flood damage.
Here are some before and after pics of the house.

The kitchen didn't receive a lot of damage.  It got repainted to match the rest of the walls.

It was a really nice day in Page.  Just before I left I drove to the end of the street and took a couple pictures.

Lake Powell- Wahweep Marina is in the middle right of the next 2 picture

I found it! I found it! Eureka, Eureka

I found the charger for my camera tonight.  It was in my gym bag.  I hadn't looked in there since I took it with me to Ogden for a meeting back in November 2009.
Yea!! I can't tell you how happy I am.  My ipod and phone charger were there too.

I have to thank Charmaine (the forest archeologist).  She has the exact camera that I have and she lent me her charger while I was looking, searching desperately for mine.
