Father's Day on my way back from Page

As I was going thru Kanab, UT. I ran into a group of Model T's at several Motels. I stopped to take some pictures.

I also had a chance to talk to Dean from MI. He is the man in the photo below adjusting his hood ornament. Dean told me that they were a club from all over the U.S. and they take their Fords on different trips. He told me that this one started in Loveland, CO and went up to Laramie, Wy and they were curently on their way to see the Grand Canyon. He said that they drive their cars unlike some that just trailer them to different events. Dean and his wife are celebrating their 60th anniversary on this trip. "These trips are what keep you young", said Dean.

Another season at Mugwumps

Thurs. June 18th going to Page

On the way down to Page, I saw these clumps of flowers. They actually are pretty big. This clump is about 3-4 ft. Some clumps were even bigger, 10-12 ft.The flowers are about as big as my fist. These flowers are quite striking. I have an email to my friend, Beth the botonist, to find out what they are.

This sunset turned out to be really intense. There were a lot of pictures that I wanted to stop and take, but I couldn't get to a good location to get a good shot. There was a great rainbow that I followed for about 15 minutes before it faded. The colors were really intense. Even the violet band was vibrant. But I had no place to pull over safely to get the shot.

Scrapbooking Night

Friday June 12th, Katy, Me and Tawnicia got together to scrapbook. We stayed up until midnight and I think we laughed as much as we scrapped!

Tawnicia sporting her new hat. I am so glad to find a good home for that hat. I hadn't ever worn it (it still had the tags on it).

We have decided that we need to get together once a month to scrap.I am hoping that I will be able to get more pages done and start getting caught up!

Family Get Together

Yesterday we had a family get together. We made homemade ice cream, cooked up shrimp and my Brother Kent brought King Crab legs that we cooked up too. The weather even cooperated long enough for us to eat outside before the wind got really bad and it got cool.

Since most of us were all together, I wanted to get a group picture. Tiffany had to work and wasn't able to come. I think that Brad, Lindsey and Rachelle were at their Dad's for the weekend. Maybe next time we can get them there too.

But for those that were there, I think that it turned out really good.

The crab was really good too! It was unanimous that we get together soon and have just crab. Mmmm Good!
