Our first cable car sighting when we arrived in San Fransisco on Dec. 27th.
Not a good sign to see it being towed.
Our first adventure--China Town
The dragon's gate to China town
There were lot's of shops with these lighting fixtures.
They are pretty festive.
I came to the decision that Lori's diner is San Fransisco's equivalent of a Waffle House.
They were everywhere!
But not as many as there were Starbucks Coffee.
Union Square Christmas Tree
Redwoods at Muir Woods
Muir Woods
Ice Plant
Golden Gate from the South (San Fransisco side)
Golden Gate from the North (Sausalito side)
San Fransisco From Sausalito Side of Bay
On a clear day-- You can see San Fransisco!
On Thursday we went to Golden Gate Park and the art museum. There were some interesting things to see.
Georgia O'Keeffe's "Petunias" which she painted in 1925
George Hitchcock's "Tulip Culture" painted in 1889
And that pretty much sums up the San Fransisco trip.
We had a lot of fun.
We were there from Dec 27th to Dec 31st
