Women are angels... and when someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly... on a broomstick, if need be. We are flexible like that!

Timpanogos Cave

Dave and I decided to go to Timpanogos National Monument
today. This is the perfect weather to hike up to the cave.
It took us about an hour to get to the cave. The trail is 1.5 miles and
you climb 1065' up in elevation. But look at the view.
The photo below was taken about 1/2 way up looking toward Utah Valley.
They have a couple little tunnels that you go thru on your way up.
Once you get in the cave, you will have felt the hike was well worth it.
Dave and I like to go to caves.
I think this is about our 4th or 5th cave we have seen together.
This is the heart of Timpanogos
These spiral formations are unique to Timpanogos.
They are called helictites
Taking pictures in the cave is really interesting.
You never know how your pictures will turn out until after you take
them because you are taking them pretty much in the dark.
This is flow stone. Formed where there is more water.
On our way back down
Another weekend adventure!
